Lendav Laev Restaurant

Lendav Laev (‘flying ship’ in Estonian) is a restaurant right on the shores of Lake Peipus, in the village of Varnja. It looks quite like the white ship we have been waiting all this time for. The restaurant boasts a fabulous view to Lake Peipus and is only a couple of hundred metres from the Voronya Gallery and the Samovar House.

The restaurant and gallery are usually open from June and close in autumn. Your hosts Martin and Tuuli offer meals from local produce – sometimes with the odd touch of the exotic. Special favourites include the Peipsi onion and fish served in a variety of ways – either with goat cheese, strawberries, beef or any other delicacies.

To pre-order your lunch or dinner, we suggest that you contact the hosts in advance. The restaurant is open in summer from Thursday to Sunday from 12.00 to 18.00.
