Kruusa farm

The family living in Kruusa Farm – Viidas, Tiiu and their daughter Eliise Kõnd – are big animal lovers. It all started with silkies in 2017. Then, a Highland bull found his way to their farm, and then another and on it went. Every animal has its own fascinating story to tell about how they ended up here.

Different animals and birds live freely and happily on Kruusa farm. They are not kept in cages. You can feed and pet them, they are well-socialised and brought up to be friendly to people, and they are not eaten or sent to the slaughterhouse to be eaten. The animals of the farm are wonderful companions, fantastic helpers and loyal friends who offer company, help to relieve loneliness and lift everyone’s mood!

Anyone can visit, take selfies and give treats, pet and hug the animals. All the pets on the farm are friendly and love petting.

The home zoo of Kruusa Farm differs from others as there is no entrance fee. If you want to, you can purchase a treat bag for a small sum that has the perfect treats for every animal. Or you can donate whatever you like to the non-profit organisation – this way, you can also support the daily food supply of the animals.

In the woods, there is also a smoke sauna with a terrace and outdoor fireplace opening to a heart-shaped pond. The smoke sauna is not near the family’s living quarters but is still on the land owned by the farm.

Kruusa Farm grows about 30,000 strawberry plants and 1,000 blueberry plants in its fields. The strawberry varieties include Asia, Polka and Sonata. You can also buy the farm’s berries year-round from the website www.e-sahver.ee or delicious zefir cakes decorated with its berries from the www.sefiiritordid.ee online shop! On a festive occasion, you can raise a toast with sparkling wine made from the strawberries offered by the handicraft wine shop Alatskivi Mõisamaitsed.
