Gallery Voronja is a cozy place that opened its doors in Varnja Village in the summer of 2014. The gallery is located in a fisherman’s cottage and is open during summers, presenting a new exhibition each summer. Both the house and the courtyard become an art exhibition, where you are likely to meet Mr. Voronin and his assistants. The gallery is always filled with a sweet scent of waffles and other snacks prepared for the guests. Mrs. Voronja, however, is ready to display her delightful handmade doll families, which can also buy and take with you.

The Voronja Gallery is open in summers. Voronja Gallery moves to Tartu during winter, where it occasionally opens art exhibitions in the homes of Tartu residents.

In the summer of 2023, the exhibition “Ajuokse (upside down) summer tour” will be opened, curated by Stina Leek. Since the “Ajuokse” art group includes many different artists, the curator Stina Leek set up a festival and a party as the starting point of the exhibition, so that a specific theme does not limit the creative freedom of the artists. “We found that this approach gives everyone enough freedom for self-expression, and it also gives an idea of where “Ajuokse” has grown from, and it also carries the values typical of an art group – fun, not taking itself too seriously, free,” explained Stina Leek behind the exhibition.

In the garden, an ever-increasing sculpture garden is open.

The gallery is open in the summer of 2023, Fri-Fri at 12-18.
