The Varakamber Shop is located along the Aovere–Kallaste–Omedu road, in Piibumäe village, right by the roadside at the Mustvee end of the Onion Route—easy to spot and access.
As the name Varakamber (“Treasure Chamber”) suggests, the shop offers a wide variety of items. Most importantly, it specializes in antiques and vintage goods, thanks to the owner Aare Kullus’s decades of experience in the field. The focus is on objects that reflect Estonian culture, history, and life along the shores of Lake Peipus, ranging from furniture to textiles.
In addition to antiques, the shop offers locally made products and handicrafts, including wooden sculptures, benches, and tables handmade by Aare himself. You’ll also find soft drinks and ice cream for sale.
There’s a dedicated secondhand clothing section, offering pre-loved clothes collected from around Estonia.
