Behind the rocky garden surrounding the Alatskivi Castle is the old manor-house on the left. A white, multi-faceted eye-catching building, on the first floor of which Külli, the hostess, has given a new breath with his family. From the middle of the summer of 2018 it is the home of Alatskivi Manor Flavours (Alatskivi Mõisamaitsed).
Manor Flavors – these are mainly wines, herbal teas, but soon flavoured vinegars and jams as well. All the produce is made from local berries and plants. As the say, right from the forests (or field) and straight into a jar (or a bottle). Truly, it is very snug and homely!
Külli herself specialises in craft wines, which you can taste and buy. If you know that you will have spare time, you can book a wine tasting class in advance. Visits outside opening hours are also possible if you let us know in advance.
